A natural fine artist, Howard Knight began creating works of art in leather when he was just a young boy, learning leather craft in 4-H.Today, Howard is regarded among his peers and by those who mentored him, as one of the world's greatest leather artists, designers and master carvers.

His creativity and vision is limitless. His work, whether it be art to wear, art to ride or art for you interiors, radiates world class sophistication while incorporating cutting edge style.

Every piece he creates is one-of-a-kind and is done one at a time using the finest materials in the world - all created in his studio on Stevensville, MT.

American Born - Montana Inspired
On May 10, 2013, Howard Knight was officially inducted into the coveted Montana Circle of American Masters by the State of Montana Arts Council at the Capital in Helena, MT.
​
Only 54 artists have ever received this honor to date. Montana is the only state in the Union that honors this country's masters in this important way.
Only the finest materials in the world are used to create his designs.

Exotic skins such as saltwater crocodile, Italian calfskin or perhapsthe pearl essence of stingray, create the canvas background over which the finest leathers virtually float.

Each piece is meticulously stitched together to create perfection.

Howard embraces collaborating with master artists working in other mediums
such as the finest goldsmiths and silversmiths in the world.
